Christopher Paul McGowan was born in September 1986, and died Sunday, July 26, 2009. Chris graduated from Paso Robles High School as well as the Grizzly Youth Academy. He enjoyed all things mechanical and was able to dismantle anything, and occasionally even put it back together. Chris had a heart of gold and was always ready to help others. He was hard working, fearless, energetic and had a great sense of humor that will always be remembered by all that knew him. With Chris, you always knew were you stood - whether you liked it or not. He leaves behind his mother, Donna; sister, Kathleen McGowan of Paso Robles; older brother, John Denner of Fresno, Calif.; half-sister, Nicole McGowan; grandmother, Kay Magnier of Paso Robles; grandfather, Al Denner of Marion, Texas; father, Richard McGowan of Visalia, Calif.; and extended family and friends both here and abroad. A service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009, at Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home in Paso Robles, CA, followed by his interment at the Paso Robles Cemetery.
